Who We Are

Berlin Emergency Medical Services is a municipal Paramedic Service. We have been providing medical services to the greater Berlin area since the 1970s. We staff two Paramedic ambulances 24/7 in Berlin that are available for 911 response and inter-facility transfers.

We staff one Paramedic ambulance 24/7 in Green Lake for 911 response along with our Paramedic Intercept vehicle which is staffed by a single Paramedic. Green Lake also houses a secondary inter-facility transfer ambulance that is staffed as needed.

We also staff an IV-Tech ambulance in Princeton for 911 response that is routinely intercepted on every call by our Green Lake Paramedic intercept.

Our Berlin and Green Lake ambulance crews normally consist of a Paramedic or RN (that operates as a Paramedic) crew chief with an EMT-B or AEMT crew member. Princeton crews normally consist of an AEMT / IV-Tech and an EMT-B. All personnel are required to be Nationally registered and attend refresher training every two years.

Our very dedicated medical staff is derived from the local community and the surrounding area. We are an entirely paid on call service, and our staff donates much of their own time to keep the service running on a daily basis.
